Holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University, Aaron is a certified educator with over 17 years of experience teaching. His specialty involves mathematics, taught in private and public schools, in American, IB, and Classical curricula.

 

During this time Aaron has realized that many concepts in math, as in science and language in general, if not effectively mastered may pose an obstacle to a student’s overall academic performance. Technical concepts may also quite often be overly abstract in methodology, affecting the student’s overall learning. These concepts are introduced early in a child's education. Therefore, Aaron strives to focus on the foundational concepts that exist in Algebra and other math subjects to ensure a child's foundation in mathematics before he/she is to move on to higher levels of content in both high school and college.

 

With this in mind, Aaron looks to connect the many uses of mathematics to present knowledge in a simple and relatable way that students can relate to, leading them to their academic independence and success.
